SCOUTS LEAD THE WAY
Troop 316 travels 11 months of the year. As a scout-led troop, the scouts who are members of the PLC (Patrol Leaders Council) are responsible for selecting and planning all trips. Have you ever hiked on the Appalachian Trail? Been to a NASCAR race? Gone whitewater rafting? Traveled 50 miles on a bicycle? If not, here is your chance!
UNIVERSITY TRIP
Visit a NC university in January where our student tour guide is typically a Troop 316 alumnus.
SCOUTS ON SKIS
Enjoy the slopes with Scouts on Skis at Winterplace in February in Ghent, WV.
SUMMER CAMP
Spend a week at a BSA camp in June or July filled with fun and adventure.
